Ryan Thomas is a speculative fiction writer, multimedia creative, and full-time dad based in the Pacific Northwest. He writes emotionally grounded science fiction with cinematic scope and philosophical depth.

The Trial of Flame and Dusk is his debut novel and the first installment in the Eve Descending trilogy, a project over fifteen years in the making. He draws inspiration from the collapse of systems, the resilience of the human spirit, and the ever-blurring line between humanity and machine.

When he’s not writing, Ryan teaches design, builds digital tools, and co-runs a small reselling business with his wife. He believes in stories that linger, worlds that feel real, and characters who wrestle with more than just survival.

Through Cafe Society Press, he plans to continue telling bold, character-driven stories, and eventually help other writers bring their visions to life as well.
